League Age 17 or 18 (age as at April 30), plus league age 16 year olds selected to the team. One team, merged with players from West Vancouver LL, play games against other teams in LL District 5 on the North Shore. Games are played at Ambleside and Inter-River Park.
League Age 15 to 16 (age as at April 30). If there are enough players registered to form two teams, ALL players in the division are selected by coaches in a team-by-team player draft process, in a manner aimed at balancing out each team in the division.
There are two levels of play in Seniors division. Tier Two (“house”, recreational level) teams play other LL District 5 leagues’ teams. In conjunction with West Vancouver Little League, a merged Tier One Seniors team will be formed, to play rep. level Seniors division teams in District 5 during the week and teams from Coquitlam, Langley, East Vancouver, Whalley and possibly other Little Leagues in Greater Vancouver on weekends. To express your interest in trying out for the Tier One Seniors team, contact CPLL’s Coaching Coordinator.
Tier Two teams’ games are played at Ambleside Park (Field 'C') and Inter‑River Park in North Vancouver, on full size diamonds with 90-foot base paths. All regular baseball rules apply. Playoffs commence by mid–June and continue through the July long weekend.
Juniors
League Age 13-14 (age as of April 30). Tier 1 (rep.) and Tier 2 teams, playing separate schedules. All players in the division are divided and balanced evenly to the best of the leagues ability taking into consideration, age, ability and many other factors.
Along the lines of Cypress Park LL’s two Majors divisions, there are two levels of play in Juniors division: Tier Two (“house”, recreational level) and Tier One (rep level). All players wishing to compete at the Tier One level must be successful at tryouts in early March (dates to be determined by the team’s coach). To express your interest in trying out for the Tier One Juniors team, contact CPLL’s Juniors division coordinator. Unfortunatetly for this season there will be no Tier 1 Team.
All District 5 leagues' Juniors divison Tier 2 teams play using one common, inter-league schedule; similar for all D5 Tier 1 teams. Games are played at Ambleside South, Eldon Park and Kirkstone, with some games at other, District 5 parks.
NL Majors
League Age 11-12 (age as of April 30); there will be no League Age 10 year olds in this division. The season, beginning in late March, consists of approximately 19 or 20 games, in the early weekday evenings and one game each Sunday afternoon. A minimum of 2-3 games per week plus two pratice sessions.
Games are played at Rick Genest Baseball Diamond and Ed Anderson Field during the week. CPLL’s NL Majors div. teams play against both Cypress Park and West Vancouver LL teams on weekdays, and versus other North Shore LL teams on Sundays. An inter-league interlocking schedule will be played on Sundays at various parks across the North Shore - Eldon, Chris Zuehlke, Myrtle, Viewlynn, Delbrook and elsewhere.
ALL players in NL Majors division are drafted onto NL Majors teams by the coaches after they have successfully attended Evaluation Day, where coaches will evaluate each player’s skill level and maturity. Within each of the 6 inning games, each player is guaranteed defensive play for at least six outs by his/her team.
AL Majors
League Age 10-11 (age as of April 30); plus, a few exceptional League Age 9 year olds in fourth grade only.
AL Majors is a development divison for the NL Majors division. ALL players are eligible to try out for the post-season tournament, CPLL Majors All Star team.
Except for an all Bowen Island resident team, all players in the division are selected by the coaches in a team-by-team player draft process, in a manner that attempts to balance out each team in the division. Participation in player skills Evaluations, held on the Sunday before the start of the Spring Break holiday, is vitally important in order to achieve this competitive balance. Parents must accept that a balanced division takes precedence over any player or team preference.
The season begins in late March, and consists of approximately 16 regular season games played in the early weekday evenings or and usually one game each Saturday. Individual game scores and team standings are recorded during the season to determine seeding for the end–of–season playoffs, for every team in the division. Playoff games start in early June and run until the consolation final and division championship games on the third Saturday in June; each team plays at least three games, with the four semi–finalists playing a total of five games during the tournament.
Most games are played at Eagle Harbour West Baseball Diamond and some interlock games with WVLL at Ed Anderson Field.
Minors (Players pitch)
8 to 10 years of age (includes any 10 year olds not selected for AL Majors div.), currently in Grade 3 or Grade 4. Players pitch.

Farm (Machine pitch)
6 - 8 years of age; most players are currently in Grade 1 or 2 (some are in Grade 3). Farm is also an instructional division. A soft version of the official size and weight ball is used.
In Farm 8 div., Coach-operated manual pitching machines are used, however there is a provision for coach pitch. An inning ends when either three outs have been recorded or 5 runs have been scored in the inning. All players are rotated through the infield and outfield positions.
The season, beginning in early April, consists of approximately 15 games played in the early weekday evenings and usually one game each weekend. Games are played at Cypress Falls East, Eagle Harbour East and some teams may play the occassional Saturday game on Bowen Island.
T-Ball (Tee/Coaches pitch)
For children who will turn 5 or 6 years of age during the current calendar year, and who either are currently enrolled in or will enter kindergarten during the current calendar year.
Coaches are allowed on the field and usually parents participate at the bases letting players know where and when to run. Games are usually two to three innings long (approximately one hour), with every player batting twice and all players participating in fielding at rotating positions. No score is kept for the game. The season begins in late April and consists of approximately 10 games, played in the early weekday evenings.
