Overview
|
- Cypress park Little league is a not-for-profit organization that has devoted its efforts to encouraging community spirit, developing skills and fostering a love for baseball with the families and children in our community.
- CPLL is run by volunteers and relies on the generosity of individuals in our community to donate their time, knowledge and share their love for the game with our children.
- While skill development is one of the primary goals, the general focus is to provide a fun environment where players thrive in a team atmosphere of respect and fair play.
- Traditionally, CPLL has relied on the registration fees and provincial government funding to finance equipment, uniforms, umpires and the costs of running the league. In 2009, Provincial Government funding was cancelled as efforts were made to continue core programs in a challenging economy.
- The additional funding requirements for CPLL have now been firmly put back in the hands of the volunteer group that organizes this league for the benefit of our community. We see this change as an opportunity, not a set back.

The Opportunity
|
- The opportunity that we are sharing with you and your organization is not simply another chance to get your name and brand out in today’s competitive environment, it is an opportunity to support the health of your community and give back to your customers.
- Your support is equally about paying recognition to the 1000s of families that have contributed to your success, it is about taking a leadership role and investing in your communities future. You will have the full support of our board to achieve this goal.
- Strong communities need leaders and the connections that will be established through your support will position your group well with future generations of West Van families. Our community remembers those organizations that support our children, our sports and our future.
